The 200 mm deep ground bases are cemented into the ground leaving the top flush with the ground surface, the spigots have a hinged lid that completely covers the top (when the post is not in use), this makes it safe for pedestrians and vehicles to cross. This hinged lids can also be locked into the down position when the post is not in use.
